Happy Happy Day!!!

IT IS THE MOST WONDERFUL DAY OF MY LIFE!!!!!!!

I am so so happy today! Simply happy :) 

And why am I so happy??

Well, today just happens to be the last day of my internship!!! :)

It is kind of bittersweet because I am just starting to joke with everyone, and everyone is starting to ask my opinions on things, such as who to hire and how to deal with doctors who are superficial. But that is only for like 20 minutes a day, and I am here for 5 hours each day. What do I do with the other 4 hours and 40 minutes I am here? Nothing. Absolutely nothing. Sometimes I call people and ask them about their experience. Other times I just do homework. Most of the time I wait for Geoff, the main administrator, or Jen, the Clinic Administrator, to review the projects that they give me. Yesterday I wrote up 4 brochures about Seasons Medical. Each office, Women's center, pediatrics, family medicine and internal medicine, each have their own brochure, but each brochure has a little paragraph on the other three clinics. It was fun to do, but didn't take me that long. Then I did a press release about how we are adding a new office to the clinic, family medicine. It might not sound interesting to you, but it was the most work I have done in 2 months. Yay... lol. I told Geoff that today was my last day today and he was surprised, because he thought it was another month. I felt kind of bad, but really I mentally cannot stay here any longer. They do not have enough projects for me to work on, and I refuse to waste my time as an intern when I have fulfilled all the academic requirements.  They are amazing people, and I could see us all being friends, but.. I AM SO EXCITED TO BE DONE!!!! :)

So a little about my life these days:

I got my mission call on October 13, 2011. I will be going to Santa Cruz, Bolivia, Spanish speaking, and will report to the Provo MTC on January 18th, 2012. I am pretty excited, but I am stressed about getting my visa. My passport was expired, so I had to order a new one. It takes about 6 weeks to get here. I have to get my visa papers in by November 26th, but I can't do that without my passport. If i don't get my visa on time, my departure date will be pushed back. It just stressing me out because there is nothing that I can do about it. But its all good.

I am taking a total of 11 online classes this semester. They are mostly easy classes, but they have a lot, and I mean A LOT, of book work. So that is annoying. But I took four finals this morning so I only have 7 left. Yay! :)

Halloween is coming up.. lol. Scrooge: Christmas as Tamazine: Halloween. Fact. I really don't like Halloween unless I am with little kids. Otherwise it really is just not that fun. I would love to go to the trunk or treat with my mom and Kamilla and Olivia, or with Chantal and Aviel and Liam, but I have work that night. It just really sucks to be me. :) I went shopping with Chantal and Aviel and Liam yesterday and got Aviel a costume. She is going to be a monkey. It is super cute :) I got invited to a couple Halloween parties, and I will most likely go to my friend Amber Sherman's on Saturday night if I am able to get off work early. Amber, Taneal Tanner and some other friends are going to a corn/straw maze Friday night after I get off work around 10, and I am really excited for that. It will just be like old times with the corn mazes for mutual at Suavie Island where we would get lost and just run straight through the corn. And you would always have to be careful because the guys would be throwing corn randomly. It was always a lot of fun because we would rent out the corn maze, so it was only us. Fun times :)

I am thinking about getting a really short hair cut. I have always wanted one, but they are just so hard to pull off! We'll see what I decide to do..

Hmmm.. what else is new? I honestly just love all my roommates! Rachel is one of the smartest people of all time, and always has the best advice about things. Tara has the best laugh of all time and can make any situation funny :) One time I was telling a joke that is short but I made it super super long (it was her bedtime story) and she got tired of listening to it and told the punch line, which was "FIRE!!". It was funny. So now whenever we are being mean to each other we just say "FIRE!!" and laugh :) It is good fun. Fiona and Sheree are so quiet that we never know when they are home. Fiona is fiesty, and reminds me of Kayte Hess. She is a lot of fun to joke with. Sheree is so sweet and so kind. She honestly has the best heart of anyone I have ever met. 

My last roommate just happens to be my bestest friend in the whole wide world. Her name is Julie Elizabeth Hamilton. I like to call her chewie jewie. I have no idea how I thought up that name, but because 1. Julie hates that name and 2. it rolls off the tongue perfectly, the name has stuck. She calls me Zinny to get back at me. I think her name is better :)

We decided to dye Julie's hair. I got to pick out the color, and I chose a darker brown :)

Julie has had a migraine for the last three weeks, so that made things kind of boring. I always had to be quiet (something that is not in my nature) and the room always had to be dark. Entering Julies room was like entering Count Dracula's lair, and not just because of the smell. hahah. Just kidding. It was just always dark. Finally Julie agreed to let me take her to Urgency Care. They gave her three shots that were pretty hardcore pain killers but didn't really help. She finally got better after she received a blessing from our Home Teachers. The other day Julie and I went to my mom's house for Sunday dinner. Our old friend, Jordan Clark and his wife also came over for Chili Rellenos. It was a lot of fun to talk with Kamilla, Olivia, Veronica, and Julie. Veronica sat next to Julie and made sure that her cup (we gave Julie the largest cup we had and she didn't notice it lol) was always filled up with apple juice. And then we teased Julie when we had to get another gallon of apple juice out. It was a lot of fun :)

Well, I really should be using my time wisely-I am taking a time management class lol. I should most likely get back to doing my final projects for a couple of my classes. And who knows, maybe I might get another project on my last day at my internship. That would be exciting :)
